Held in May 2025 at Athena, Leicester, Leicester Made brought together the full spectrum of the fashion and textile industry, from manufacturers and designers to retailers, educators, and policy leaders. The event achieved remarkable results:
- Over 1,000 attendees throughout the day.
- 64 exhibitors showcasing the best in innovation, sustainability, and UK-made excellence.
- 773 pre-registered visitors representing a diverse range of industry sectors.
- Attendance from major retailers and brands including Gymshark, Sainsbury’s, ASOS, NBrown Group, Never Fully Dressed, John Lewis & Partners, and Selfridges, with senior figures such as CEOs, Directors, Designers, and Sustainability Leads joining the discussion.
The outcome was clear: Leicester Made successfully united the entire apparel supply chain, from makers and technologists to brands and academics, creating a platform for action on ethical manufacturing, sustainability, and the future of British fashion.
Looking Ahead: Made in Great Britain 2026
In 2026, the event expands to a new, larger venue at De Montfort University – The Venue, doubling in capacity to host 120 stands and extending over two full days.
- Day 1: Industry Day – Connecting UK manufacturers with brands, retailers, and innovators through panels, fireside chats, keynotes, and the exclusive CEO Roundtable.
- Day 2: Consumer Celebration – Opening the doors to the public, celebrating regional craftsmanship with a fashion show, live repair and upcycling workshops, and the new UK Makers Award.
