As part of this shared mission, we welcomed Joanna and Annie to take part in a dedicated session designed to support early-stage designers with practical insight, encouragement, and a clearer understanding of the steps needed to progress within the fashion industry.
Creating Space for Emerging Talent
For many new designers, navigating the industry can feel overwhelming — from developing a collection to understanding production, sourcing, and how to position a brand.
This session focused on providing a supportive environment where designers could ask questions openly, gain realistic advice, and feel more equipped to move forward with their ideas.
Bridging the Gap Between Design and Manufacturing
A key part of ATMF’s work is building stronger connections between designers and manufacturers — ensuring that creative talent is supported by the technical and production knowledge needed to bring concepts to life.
By working alongside Leicester Fashion Hub, ATMF is helping to create a clearer pathway from design development through to manufacturing readiness, helping new designers better understand how to prepare for production and work effectively with factories.
