About ATMF
ATMF has been incorporated to act as a UK apparel & textile manufacturers' voice. We work with various stakeholders to provide a voice for garment and textile suppliers and promote a fair, inclusive, and ethical environment for suppliers in the garment/textile industry.
About our UKSPF Project:
Our UKSPF funded project “Leicester Forward”, aims to support the local fashion and textiles industry and provide a platform for networking. This project is supported by Fashion-Enter Ltd/Fashion Capital.
The project activities will include:
- Mapping out support needs of organisational members/project participants, establishing specific topics for masterclasses.
- Organising and facilitating monthly networking meetings and/or Monthly Masterclasses for Leicester based fashion and textile businesses, aiming to improve business performance
- Workshops/Masterclasses for individuals wanting to start a new fashion and textile enterprise in Leicester
- Update current database of live factories and the creation of a directory that can be provided on Leicester Leading, Leicester Made and the ATMF.
- Business support & Supply Chain Development with advice, guide and signpost, aiming to provide opportunities for local fashion & textiles to develop new local markets using B2B and B2C channels
- Organising quarterly sample sale shows – providing opportunities for designers to source locally and also the opportunities for local manufacturers to generate a new source of income
